German packaging

My favorite German chocolate packaging.

German chocolate wafer packaging. I thought it reminded me of the above (in terms of shape, size and name look and placement).

Heinz innovation

Creating a separate squeeze top bottle for consumers who hated getting their ketchup out of the original glass bottles. Definitely bypasses the frustration by getting ketchup out much more easily. Thank you guys!!!!

Virgin Airlines!!!

Virgin Airlines offers an airline experience I've heard is very different and unique and so I went to check it out for myself. Pretty sweet. :)

User friendly brochure.

Awesome graphics and nice idea to add this guy's cartoon as a more welcoming personal greeting to each passenger.

The seat backs are plastic white!

There is cool blue lighting to create a different kind of cool ambiance.

Lit up remote.

Interactive touchscreen.

Pretty purple and blue lighting on the top of the plane.

Polite signs :)

UC BERKELEY should have similar signs to this all over campus.

Scary logo

The frozen monster is so weird looking! While it probably catches people's attention, if there is such thing as a logo deterring a potential consumer this one works for me!

Forever 21 or XXI?

Is this another brand for the forever21 company? Or just an upscaled logo?

Art Center of Pasadena

Really cool signs on the ground telling you what direction is what. :)

Bulletin boards looking just like Berkeley's (except less flyers)

Adorable kinder packaging!

We do the recycling for you

Perfect idea to get everyone to recycle. Just do it for them! :P In the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood.

Plastic Food Display

One of the very few plastic food displays I've seen outside of Japan! In a Taiwanese restaurant in Arcadia.

Sale sign?

Interesting way of saying there's a sale? Or does this mean something else? The ambiguity can draw people in but can also confuse them..

UCLA

Same type of signs used by student groups at Berkeley's Sather Gate area!

Sign Icons

Signs are similar to corporate identities in that they have to communicate the main message in a simple graphic. I love this monorail icon, it's a simple picture of a monorail and communicates what it needs to. :)

Very simple icon for a fire extinguisher at the SFO airport.

Awesome restroom signage (super visible!)

Airline stuff

Awesome miniature versions of alcohol. I think they're exactly the same as the original large ones. (It wasn't for me by the way, but I love the packaging!)

Cute trend at Disney and Universal?

Cuties characters. Also in pins, mini figurines and on other merchandise. This picture is of a t-shirt made from a Disney Design a Tee store where anyone can select color and image and text for a t-shirt! Very popular store and great idea in my opinion.

Cute figurine at Universal Studios

Key chains at Universal Studios:

One side
The other!
(there are similar key chains at Disney with Disney characters (except they're the same on each side)

(These are also at Disney with Winnie the Pooh characters)

Superhero stuffed toys at Universal Studios

Star Wars stuffed toys at Disney

Cute mugs at Universal Studios

Disney Brand Equity

Wonder how well these actually sell? How much a snack sale is driven by the fact that it has a Disney character on it.

Goofy hamburger gummy. Are there legal issues with how similar this idea might be to the hamburger gummys that already exist? I wonder of the percentage of those who buy this who bought it because they're already fans of the original hamburger gummys.

Disney Products

These products have a weird mix of random characters in the form of something else. It's odd and quirky to me but pretty funny.

the Wave restaurant

Pretty sign and walkway to a restaurant called 'the Wave'.

Oakland Airport

The Oakland Airport's new advertising campaign is very noticeable and in my opinion very nice! However I wish there was a way to know how successful it really is, or to figure out if it's really based on the advertising that more people fly at this airport (through surveys possibly?)

Ralph's

My new favorite grocery store is the Ralph's in Westwood LA. It has the most variety of products in the most organized fashion and displayed in the most easy to access and visible way! The only thing that bothers me is hearing that only this particular Ralph is this amazing because it's in one of the richest areas of LA. Why can't there be consistency in organization and cleanliness in the other Ralph's stores such as in less rich areas? :/ There should be to raise the standards in other stores as well.

There's even a button to press when you want assistance (a very easy and comfortable way of asking for help.) :)

L'Occitane

For some reason this store always looks like a chocolate shop to me when it's really a body shop!? Maybe it's because of the bold borders in its sign and store design that make it look like chocolate gift boxes?
