Cool coffee sleeve

A company named Coffee Press packages its product in a way that looks like a coffee sleeve. :)

El Capitan Disney Theatre

My sister and I went to watch Alice in Wonderland in the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. This theatre is owned by Disney and the overall experience was really true to the brand. There was a cafe that was decked out with Alice in Wonderland merchandise and in the cafe there was a Mad Hatter tea party going on. Inside the theater while waiting for the movie to start there is entertainment before (someone playing music) and a huge frame that surrounded the screen that looked like the movie. Before the movie started there was a countdown introduction which exploded into lots of glitter and confetti to give the introduction a real bang. It was a magical experience that made the rest of the movie that much better in our opinions. At the end walking towards the exit there were glass boxes with props and costumes from the movie. Very strong consistent brand experience with the movie and the Disney brand, including the employees. It felt like we were in Disneyland but not. And in my book, pretty smart!

Fashion Sustainability

With a growing conscious consumer market where does that lie for the fashion industry? Do consumers care? High fashion versus not?

What is the possibility of a high end line creating a faux leather line of bags that replicates the real leather designs or designed differently?

Political Candidates

Actually personally coming out on the streets and standing out in the cold early in the morning to wave to cars driving past next to the banners to me gives a more personal touch and extra props to marketing oneself as a candidate.

Instead of bashing each other's party's candidates in advertisements why not focus on what people actually care about in terms of policies and positive emotion with their issues and stray away from spurring negative feeling in voters from bashing each other? It may make the party look like the 'better person' instead of an bitter or angry side as well.

Volvo's logo

Didn't notice that the Volvo logo is actually a male sign until someone pointed it out to me one day. Male symbol for strength and protection?

Teenage Mutant Ninja CHAIR

This chair totally reminds me of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle front. Below is a picture so you can see for yourself if you agree on any similarity!

Restaurant marketing!

At the Vietnamese Noodle House, the walls showcase beautiful lit up pictures of their dishes.
At the tables are picture cards that have labels pointing out each dish you can order.
On the wall there's a poster of a sign of the store name and address to help customers remember to come again!

Gum Display

Saw this Gum Display at Home Depot. Obviously something went wrong with the case but in a way it's out of the way display position makes it very interesting and eye catching. :)

Cellophane!

This one store uses cellophane to showcase products for customers to buy. Makes it look like a great gift just for yourself or a friend, and keeps the product visible and dust free while outside of the box! :)

Milk Lotion Packaging?

Lotion made from Goat's Milk, packaged in a bottle that looks like a milk bottle!!!! :D

Packaging to Retail Interior

One of my favorite bottle packaging designs....

Looks like a sushi restaurant's wall interior!!!! :)

Japan

Mochi with different flavors and colors with matching stickers on the packaging! Cut in half to show what's inside. Check out the variety of flavors and colors of the cakes above as well.
Vending machine drink packaging! With actual empty bottles on display. Cold and hot drinks available from the same vending machine. :)

German packaging

My favorite German chocolate packaging.

German chocolate wafer packaging. I thought it reminded me of the above (in terms of shape, size and name look and placement).

Heinz innovation

Creating a separate squeeze top bottle for consumers who hated getting their ketchup out of the original glass bottles. Definitely bypasses the frustration by getting ketchup out much more easily. Thank you guys!!!!

Virgin Airlines!!!

Virgin Airlines offers an airline experience I've heard is very different and unique and so I went to check it out for myself. Pretty sweet. :)

User friendly brochure.

Awesome graphics and nice idea to add this guy's cartoon as a more welcoming personal greeting to each passenger.

The seat backs are plastic white!

There is cool blue lighting to create a different kind of cool ambiance.

Lit up remote.

Interactive touchscreen.

Pretty purple and blue lighting on the top of the plane.

Polite signs :)

UC BERKELEY should have similar signs to this all over campus.

Scary logo

The frozen monster is so weird looking! While it probably catches people's attention, if there is such thing as a logo deterring a potential consumer this one works for me!

Forever 21 or XXI?

Is this another brand for the forever21 company? Or just an upscaled logo?

Art Center of Pasadena

Really cool signs on the ground telling you what direction is what. :)

Bulletin boards looking just like Berkeley's (except less flyers)

Adorable kinder packaging!

We do the recycling for you

Perfect idea to get everyone to recycle. Just do it for them! :P In the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood.

Plastic Food Display

One of the very few plastic food displays I've seen outside of Japan! In a Taiwanese restaurant in Arcadia.

Sale sign?

Interesting way of saying there's a sale? Or does this mean something else? The ambiguity can draw people in but can also confuse them..

UCLA

Same type of signs used by student groups at Berkeley's Sather Gate area!

Sign Icons

Signs are similar to corporate identities in that they have to communicate the main message in a simple graphic. I love this monorail icon, it's a simple picture of a monorail and communicates what it needs to. :)

Very simple icon for a fire extinguisher at the SFO airport.

Awesome restroom signage (super visible!)

Airline stuff

Awesome miniature versions of alcohol. I think they're exactly the same as the original large ones. (It wasn't for me by the way, but I love the packaging!)

Cute trend at Disney and Universal?

Cuties characters. Also in pins, mini figurines and on other merchandise. This picture is of a t-shirt made from a Disney Design a Tee store where anyone can select color and image and text for a t-shirt! Very popular store and great idea in my opinion.

Cute figurine at Universal Studios

Key chains at Universal Studios:

One side
The other!
(there are similar key chains at Disney with Disney characters (except they're the same on each side)

(These are also at Disney with Winnie the Pooh characters)

Superhero stuffed toys at Universal Studios

Star Wars stuffed toys at Disney
